Have you ever been outside walking somewhere while it began to rain? It is not pleasant. That’s why Gavin created Remember The Umbrella – a new online service that will email an alert when the forecast is predicting rain in your area.

Remember the Umbrella is written in PHP and connects to many web APIs including the Google Web Services API and the National Weather Service Forecast Database web service.

Simple design was at the forefront of this project – the user can sign up for the service with only a few clicks of the mouse. Cutting-edge design patterns are implemented to maximize visitor conversion rate.
